Who Are Gemstone Creative
The idea is the brainchild of co-founders Mark Hirschel and Sarah Sultman who have attentively assembled a team of renowned mosaic artists, specialist jewellery stone setters, and skilled craftsmen whose combined talents have made it technically possible to create complex, contemporary, luxury mosaic pieces.

Graduating in 1994 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from a Canadian University, Mark took on several sales and marketing based roles in a diverse group of industries such as steel and electrical appliances before travelling around Europe for six months and eventually landing in London in October 1997. After spending the next four years in banking, in 2001 Mark entered into the world of fashion jewellery, accessories, and clothing, an industry that he has been part of ever since. He has held a variety of Director and Senior level roles managing the commercial development in areas covering sales, buying, design, and sourcing for several well respected brands and white label supply companies to the high street. In October 2008 Mark was introduced to Sarah Sultman and together they developed Gemstone Creative into the premium niche business it is today.

Sarah Sultman, Director and Co-founder
Sarah completed a degree in geography at Manchester University, after which she went on to pursue a career in the city working for Gartmore Investment Management. She left the company eight years later after working her way up to a senior sales manager advising on investments for the UK's largest insurance companies.
The inspiration for Gemstone Creative came whilst travelling around India. "Whilst touring Rajasthan I was struck by some of the beautiful mosaics that featured in many of the palaces; and the tales of precious intricate inlaid walls with diamonds, sapphires and rubies adorning the rooms of the red fort and other palaces." This led Sarah down a path of learning about mosaics and artistry, precious stones and the jewellery industry, and inspired her idea of marrying them all together in a way that would appeal to people today.
Sarah lives in London with her husband and three children.
